Again (A Marriage Redemption Novella) by J.L. Seegars

A Review By: DWP

Jaxon Daniels was supposed to be my forever.

I've loved him since I was thirteen years old, and like a foolish little girl, I believed that our love would carry us through everything. Every challenge. Every obstacle. Every heartbreak. But that was before I knew anything about pain and the challenge of overcoming crushing disappointment. Before I knew that loving someone doesn't always mean you get to have them, sometimes it means you have to let them go.

Now, thanks to my sister marrying his brother at a romantic resort in Mexico, he's back in my orbit. Making me question the choice I made all those years ago, reminding me of our history every time he looks me in the eye, touching me like I still belong to him, and demanding that I give him another chance.

In my life. In my bed. In my heart.

And as tempted as I am to say yes, there's still a part of me that can't forget what it was like to let him go, to live with our broken forever haunting me.

I survived losing him once, but I'm not so sure I can do it again.

Contains mature themes.

Narrator (s): iiKane, Winston James

It was a second chance romance that played out so well on page. It was the perfect amount of drama, romance, and angst. JL Seegars did not disappoint with this sweet novella.

iiKane, Winston James: These two did a great job with this story. They were marvelous together. Their voices blended so well. This was my first time hearing these two together and I hope it won’t be my last. iiKane was masterful with her voice. She was sensual when she needed to be. You could hear the confidence in her tone. It didn’t matter if she was Amina, Jax, or a side character; she was committed. She gave them all their own voice and identity. She truly took you on an emotional rollercoaster. She had me on a super high and then would have me pummeling down so low. The control she has over her voice and tone is truly a game changer. iiKane never disappoints.

Winston James had me believing he was really fighting for his wife, lol. I could see every smirk, every light chuckle, every look. He made it possible for you to see it with his voice alone. To me, this was his best role, and that’s what it felt like, a role. He brought this character to life. JL Seegars did her thing with this one. I loved it.

There was nothing not to like about this audiobook. Both narrators did a great job with this story.
