A small town crime thriller done right!
This book is a family being vulnerable about how the handle life during difficult times. It's stories, memories, and some tears.
Let me begin by saying I don't know exactly why I selected this book; however, I am so glad I did. The reality of life comes with some very difficult times and heartaches which are highlighted and dealt with in this book. The Evans family doesn't write a “I'm a super strong religious person and I trust God” book. They give us the real. There are not just scriptures but feelings and questions. Everyone can gain something from this book. I enjoyed it some much that I purchased a hard back copy. The narration was natural and felt like a discussion at the family table.
I have no dislikes. However, I wish we got a little bit of Anthony's worship music.
