It's Always Been You by Tay Mo'Nae

A Review By: SQ

All Jerzey wanted was a family of her own.

After things don't work out with her ex-husband, she takes matters into her own hands. Being a foster mom isn't easy, but having her best friend by her side to help makes it a little easier. That is, until the two blur lines and suddenly a friendship isn't enough.

Review Notes:

Audio Book Publication Year: 2023

An installment in a Series? No

Narrator (s): Winston James, Trei Taylor

This book is about two oblivious friends who become lovers! Jerzey and O’Shea were a joy to watch unfold. That said, this book isn’t only about them!

What I really loved about this book was the complexities that it dealt with. Jerzey and O’Shea had their own traumas and took their healing to pour into two troubled souls! The whole book is sweet enough to induce a toothache, while having enough drama to get you annoyed and heated right along with O’Shea.

Winston and Trei took a book that I already enjoyed and blew my mind. I loved their narration of Tay’s written words!

There’s nothing that I dislike about this book or the narration of it!
