Oops! by Alexandra Warren

A Review By: RS

“As if sleeping with the enemy wasn’t disastrous enough....”

For Camryn Cox, living a private, purpose-driven, drama-free life is a top priority. And in her opinion, Maverick Woods represents everything opposite of that.

He’s social media-famous, ultra fine, and completely irresponsible, making him something like the enemy as far as Camryn is concerned. But everything changes when a surprise moment of passion between the two of them results in a positive pregnancy test. Oops!

Includes bonus novella Whoa.

Review Notes:

Audio Book Publication Year: 2020

An installment in a Series? No

Narrator (s): Morae Brehon, Chance Smolders

Maverick is everything Camryn never knew she needed. Camryn is everything Maverik wanted and needed.

Oops is a really cute and romantic story. Camryn, while attracted physically to Maverik, was not into his f-boy persona. Maverik has always wanted an opportunity with Camryn, and fate and lust gave him just that. One night is all it takes to put these two on the road to love. I enjoyed their story and how their love grew organically. Of course, it came with a few bumps along the way, but they navigated their way through it rather maturly.

I enjoyed Morae's narration. She easily gave life to each character. Chance, on the hand, was just ok. For a narrator to have a name like Chance Smolders, I need some more smolder...

My only complaint is that I felt like the story was slightly rushed. I also would have enjoyed a little more sipce/heat and drama.

BONUS! After you finish Oops there is a bonus novella called Whoa. It features Maverik's twin sister, Malinda, and is nice little surprise listen.
