I have been a huge fan of the Donovans by A.C. Arthur for a long time, so I was extremely excited when she extended the series into the Donovan Dynasty. And even more excited now that they are available on audio! The Donovans are no strangers to danger and romance, and A.C. is giving both in Ridge. Both Talaya and Ridge are both running from themselves and the demons of their past and present. Unfortunately, when their demons connect, people lose their lives. Ridge is a sexy suspense tale that will have you at the edge of your seat. I can't wait to dive into the next installment.
Mari and Winston James are two narrators that I enjoy. They both do a great job of giving inflection and feeling to each character. Both have a high amount of edge and sexy for these characters in Ridge. They truly brought this book to life.
There isn’t really anything I didn't like about this book. I will say that it was kind of wrapped up rather quickly, but overall, I enjoyed it.
Both narrators are great. I wasn't, however, particualy in love with Winston's British accent. It missed the mark for me.
