Scheming For Love by Blake Carrington
A Review By: LL
What happens when the woman is the hustler and breadwinner for the family and she falls in love with her side dude?
Gloria Parker is the proud mother of two and the wife of a hardworking man. Although her job is a dangerous one, she would never do anything to risk losing her family - until she falls for a man named Raymond Jackson. She was supposed to kill him, but now that she can't resist him, all that she holds dear will be placed in jeopardy.
With the Italian Mob on her heels, Charlotte Police Department out for blood, and a husband who's willing to do anything to get his wife back, Gloria is thrown yet another curve. Her fate is placed in the hands of the one person she's most unsure of.
Hold your breath and grab a glass of wine as Blake Karrington takes you on another wild ride. This action-packed thriller will leave you guessing until the last word.

An installment in a Series? No
Narrator (s): Ida Belle
Gloria is a wife and mother with a secret. She kills people for a living. For reasons that aren't clear, she can't bring herself to kill her latest target.
I loved the drama and the romance if that's what you want to call it.
The narrator at times sounded a little robotic. I enjoyed the book, but it was hard to follow at times because there was so much going on simultaneously.
