She’s Got Soul by Aja

A Review By: RS

Soul mate (noun): a person ideally suited to another as a close friend or romantic partner.

Podcast host Zola is smart, sexy, and opinionated. When wealthy app developer Khalil calls into her show to correct her, she won't let him off the hook without a fight. The more they talk, the bigger the sparks. Could it be love?

Zola and Khalils' live story definitely has soul. A sensual soul. Their love is a slow burn. I enjoyed this couples' journey.

I tend to like Shari Peele. However, while her voice gave Zola a sensual soulfulness, she also aged the 25 year-old Zola, and her breathy pauses were a bit much. She also didn't give as much inflection when needed. Leon Nixon, he definitely gave software developer vibes, but I would’ve liked more from his performance. I was just ok.
