The Pleasure Trap by Niobia Bryant

A Review By: LC

Pleasure is his name, one that women whisper - and scream - with desire. As a popular exotic dancer and escort, he fulfills his clients' every sexy fantasy. His climb has taken him from the streets' most lethal ride-or-die ladies to the even more dangerous world of wealthy, powerful women. All along he believed leveraging his chiseled body for a life of luxury would help him outrun his tormented childhood.... But now a mysterious woman has him at her mercy, determined to punish him for reasons he doesn't understand. Saving his own life means Pleasure must figure out which of the women from his past has a deadly obsession. And when a long-buried secret arises, will he be able to survive? Or will facing it completely destroy him?

Review Notes:

Audio Book Publication Year: 2015

An installment in a Series? Yes

Narrator (s): Soozi Cheyenne

The main character Graham, aka Pleasure, is a male entertainer who needed extra money and ended up in predicaments he shouldn't have. With this book, you have to play close attention to each character brought up due to the fact Pleasure hasn't played nice in his past. This book is not a standalone.

It was good for the most part. The narrator didn't mispronounce any words or sound as if she was overly selling the performance.

The only complaint I have is with each character brought into the book, there was no change in her tone. They all sounded the same
