An installment in a Series? Yes

Although I haven't laid eyes on Xavier Starks, I know he is fine as H E double hockey sticks. In the beginning. I thought that Xavier was a jerk. He still had jerk tendencies, but he grew on me. He was serious about his work at the agency and did not want to tarnish Pure Talent's reputation. Zara was a hardworking and driven professional who couldn't pass up the opportunity to work for her mentor, Jax Starks. Working at the agency reunited Zara with her childhood friend, Xavier. Working closely together makes them realize that they aren't kids anymore. We see them struggling with the idea of becoming more than friends while keeping their eyes on the prize at work. Mark my words, you won't regret giving this author a chance.

I loved that the characters were likable and loveable. They were also authentic. The parents and friends acted like you would expect them to. The others meddled in their children's lives even though they are adults. The story was sweet, and it was well told. The narrator did very well. The male voices did not sound feminine. I felt like I was listening to a movie. Bravo
