The award-winning author of Anybody's Daughter is back with an addictive courtroom drama that gives listeners a shocking look inside the juvenile criminal justice system.

An installment in a Series? Yes
Narrator (s): R.C. Bray
This novel was another gripping installment in the Dre Thomas series. While enlightening readers to the dangers of social media, Pamela Samuels Young also delves into issues affecting teenagers in today’s society, such as discrepancies in the judicial system where Black youth are concerned. The storyline is filled with suspense, various scandals, and family drama as the characters learned the consequences of sexting.
I enjoyed how the author’s background as a former television news writer and attorney shine through with the details in the story. I also enjoyed how R.C. Bray (the narrator) was able to give each character a voice of his/her own. That is not always easy to do with multiple characters having a voice in one story.
