The If You Can Series by Christina C Jones

A Review By: LC

Catch Me If You Can (Book 1):
Unforeseen circumstances force them into a closer proximity than either — especially Naomi — would like to be. Sparks fly, and as surely as fire ignites, eventually their undeniable chemistry combusts into a passion that neither expected as they join forces in the dangerous pursuit of a common bounty.

Release Me If You Can (Book 2):
Secrets always have a way of coming to light.
Special Agent Renata Parker learns this the hard way, when the secret she’s held close for many years is finally revealed, exposing her as traitor to the team of thieves, spies, hackers, and federal agents who thought they shared a common goal — take down Damien Wolfe. Her dedication to their cause doesn’t quite stand up to scrutiny — especially for Quentin, a fellow hacker who was drawn to Renata’s quiet energy before her true identity was exposed.

Save Me If You Can (Book 3):
Deception and betrayal always carry a price, and sooner or later, someone has to pay.
For a long time, Terry King and Damien Wolfe have dodged those debts while the people around them paid – in loneliness, grief, constant fear, and the loss of innocent lives

Audio Book Publication Year: 2021

An installment in a Series? Complete Series

Narrator (s): Wesleigh Siobhan; Leon Nixon

I’ve listened to multiple books by CCJ and she never disappoints. While I was reading this I did not know what to expect due to the fact that this is a romantic suspense novel and most cannot pull off a standalone, let alone a series! Each book has couples go through the trials and tribulations of a relationship with the added mixture of working for the FBI and CIA. The mole is the most unlikely suspect.

Wesleigh Siobhan is very talented; she NEVER disappoints. She reads each book as if she wrote it herself. The way she can switch from character to character is amazing.

The book was good due to you not knowing what would happen next CCJ really had twists and turns throughout the series. I’ve listened to a few books with Leon and he seems to always sound the same, flat and dull! It would be great if he put more effort in his narrations.
